- Real-estate software developer MRI Software said it has named Deluxe Corp. its official processing partner for its rent-payment technology.
- Commerce.com Inc., the parent company of e-commerce platform BigCommerce, said it has integrated PayPal Holdings Inc.’s Store Sync technology in BigCommerce’s App Marketplace and Channel Manager. The move aims to make Commerce merchants’ products more apparent in shopping services powered by AI.
- Lightspark, a digital-currency technology company, said it will partner with Visa Inc. to enable Visa debit cards backed by stablecoins and bitcoin in more than 100 countries.
- Payments platform Adyen NV will work with Sokin, a provider of cross-border business-payments services, to add global acceptance capability to Sokin’s multi-currency accounts.
- FIS Inc. announced Lyriq, a service that enables banks to issue and settle digital currencies and tokenized deposits. The service is entering limited availability, FIS says.
- Cryptocurrency payments network Mesh Connect Inc. said it will be able to process USDC stablecoin settlements following an integration with Circle Internet Financial, issuer of USDC.
- Modern Treasury Corp. said it, too, will be able to support USDC transactions on its network following an integration with Polygon, a blockchain.
- Of 193 financial-institution executives responding to a survey by the processor Jack Henry & Associates Inc., 94% said they plan to add new payment services in the next two years, though just 36% have a formal payments strategy. Some 82% plan to add tap-to-pay capability, and 47% say they will embed payments in their digital-banking services. The survey of Jack Henry client institutions took place in January and February.
- Phishing attacks were responsible for 73.2% of global fraud incidents in 2025, said the “Fraud Beat 2026: The Industrialization of Digital Fraud—From Social Exposure to Cash-Out” report from fraud prevention specialist AppGate.
