Contractors enrolled in the Sherwin-Williams Pro+ service now have access to Square’s business management, invoicing, and payment-acceptance services via the Sherwin-Williams Digital Alliance Program.
This program offers professional painters, contractors, and designers in the Pro+ service access to a variety of business tools. Square is the latest addition. Others include estimating, jobsite management, and business-operations tools. Cleveland-based Sherwin-Williams launched the Pro+ service in 2021. It does not disclose the number of participants, which also can purchase Sherwin-Williams products at discounts.
Square says Pro+ members can use Square for Services to send estimates and invoices, accept payments, including automated clearing house transactions and contactless payments, and manage the client relationship. Square added the ACH capability for its invoices in 2021. They also can use Square Checking for their banking services.

Square Invoices, for example, can enable painters and contractors to collect deposits upfront, schedule future payments using a single invoice account, and set up recurring billing for longer projects. Square says this can help users eventually reduce payment collection time and bring some stability to their financial outlook. If they use Square Checking, the business operators get access to funds instantly.
Painters and contractors can enroll in the Pro+ program via a Sherwin-Williams or a new site set up by Square. On the site, Square promotes a 2.5% plus 15 cent payment processing for dipped, tapped, or swiped transactions and priority access to Square’s support staff.
