- Processor Fiserv Inc. said it has agreed to acquire digital-banking developer Finxact Inc. Fiserv, an early investor in Finxact, will acquire total ownership interest for $650 million.
- Israel-based payments provider Nayax Ltd. said it has submitted a draft registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a potential U.S. initial public offering of shares.
- Payments provider Blackhawk Network has expanded its long-time contract with the Kroger grocery chain to include Blackhawk’s Velocity gift card platform for business-to-business payments. Cards are issued by U.S. Bank.
- Payments provider Lightspeed Commerce Inc. announced merchants on the Ecwid commerce platform, which Lightspeed acquired last year, can now sell directly to consumers through the social network TikTok.
- eProcessing Network LLC said it received certification from Worldpay, a unit of FIS Inc., to process transactions through Worldpay’s platform.
- Wirex, a digital payments platform, announced its U.S. launch that will see its crypto-enabled debit card be available here.
