- SpotOn, a payments provider specializing in the restaurant industry, launched Experiences by SpotOn Reserve, a reservation and waitlist platform.
- Checkout.com launched Fraud Detection Pro, aimed at helping online merchants combat bot attacks, account takeovers, synthetic identities and other newer fraud technologies.
- Payments provider Paysafe Ltd. said it will support payments for U.S. hotels via a partnership with HotelKey, a software provider for the hospitality industry.
- Blue Payment Agency said its payment gateway is now available for merchants with a Federal Firearms License that use the BigCommerce e-commerce platform and GunBroker.com, an online marketplace.
- Automated clearing house governing body Nacha found that 97% of workers between 22 and 34 years old have a bank or credit union account and that 88% of those receiving a W2 statement use direct deposit, though only 47% of gig workers are paid this year. Nacha surveyed 700 U.S. adults between 22 and 34 years old in April.
