Windows SoftPOS at Nebraska Furniture Mart and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 6/18/25

  • Felix Payment Systems Ltd. launched what it says is the industry’s first deployment of a Windows-based softPOS solution. The deployment came in collaboration with Nebraska Furniture Mart and technology company HP Inc. SoftPOS allows merchants to accept contactless payments on an ordinary mobile phone.
  • Celerant Technology Corp. released version 2.8.2 of its point-of-sale technology, which represents what the company calls an “overhaul of point-of-sale performance.”
  • Payment-tokenization platform VGS marked its 10th anniversary and said it has now surpassed the 5-billion mark in tokens stored.
  • One Inc, a payments provider for the insurance industry, launched an integration with FAST, an operations platform from Verisk aimed at insurance companies.
  • Entri, a provider of domain-setup technology for e-commerce, said it will integrate the Domain Connect System from GoDaddy Inc. to ease DNS configuration for Entri clients. The deal also resolves a lawsuit between the two companies.
  • Asia Broadband Inc. launched its merchant point-of-sale platform, a blockchain-based system that supports QR-code payments and real-time payment processing.
  • Sunny, a fintech specializing in payments and rewards, announced its users will be able to use a Sunny Visa prepaid card to spend benefits and rewards earned on Sunny’s app.
  • Nacha has launched DirectPayment.org, an awareness campaign aimed at promoting direct payment to pay bills. Direct payments is also known as e-check and autopay.
  • Humphrey Holdings of America LLC has acquired Bryte Payment Solutions from Advanced Merchant Services LLC. Terms were not announced.
