- The Western Union Co. reported June-quarter revenue of $1 billion, flat with the year-ago result. Net income of $76.7 million was down 37%. Revenue from consumer money transfers totaled $866.1 million, down 2%; for the first half of the year, consumer-transfer revenue fell 3% to $1.71 billion.
- Setomatic Systems, a provider of payment technology for laundromats, introduced Wash Dry Fold, a service that combines payment with wash-and-fold management, with contactless credit card payment at washers and dryers.
- Payments provider PSQ Holdings Inc. said its payments platform, PSQ Payments, and its buy now, pay later unit, Credova, will support ACH payments for Guidefitter’s outdoor-products marketplace. PSQ will also process payments for Guidefitter’s digital wallet.
- Circle Internet Group Inc., a major stablecoin platform, said its Circle Internet Trust Company LLC has received a limited purpose trust charter from the New York Department of Financial Services. The trust company does business as Circle New York Trust.
- Comdata Inc. has launched its Pay Codes digital-fueling option for locations across the country to support fuel payments for commercial truck fleets. Pay Codes are accessed within the Comdata app.
- Gift card and loyalty provider Factor4 said it will work with Evosus, maker of business-management software for the pool, spa, and hearth industries, to enable merchants to sell, redeem, and manage physical and digital gift cards in Aries point-of-sale devices made by PAX Technology.
- Payments provider Finix said its white-labeled payout service is available to users of Change, a platform for charitable fundraising. This will help businesses that want to incorporate charitable giving into their customer experience, Finix said.
- Issuer Citi said it and Mastercard Inc. expanded the Curated Table premium dining experience for U.S. Citi Strata Elite cardholders.
