Fiserv Makes its Commerce Hub Available Globally

Fiserv Inc. is bringing global availability to its Commerce Hub, which allows enterprise-size merchants to manage payments via a single link to Fiserv, the processor says.

First offered in beta testing in 2022, Commerce Hub offers users a single integration for onboarding, APIs, reporting, and operational controls for Fiserv merchant services. It also gives merchants access to local payment methods, acquiring, and settlement options and insights into regional differences.

Other components include the ability to scale the technology, along with access to value-added services, such as fraud protection and support for emerging payment methods.

These components provide a way for merchants to access market-specific payment options, acquiring services, and value-added services without trying to marshal multiple providers, Fiserv says.

Computer maker Dell Technologies Inc. uses Commerce Hub to offer real-time payment service PIX in Brazil, Fiserv says. Other local payment methods include Clearpay, a BNPL service in the U.K., Alipay in Asia, Interac, and Paze, according to the Fiserv Web site.

In related news, buy now, pay later specialist Klarna AB says its payment method is now available in Commerce Hub for merchants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and select European markets for in-store and online transactions.

Klarna recently launched at more than 100,000 U.S. in-store merchant locations through Clover, the Fiserv point-of-sale technology.
