PCI Pal Zooms in and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/10/26

  • Payments-software developer PCI Pal announced it is widening its relationship with Zoom Communications Inc. to integrate PCI Pal’s payment technology with Zoom Virtual Agent, a technology aimed at resolving customer issues.
  • Payments-technology firm Thales and Verifone announced an expanded relationship in which Verifone’s devices will integrate Thales’s eSIM technology, a move the companies say will enable provision, management, and update of connectivity remotely.
  • Merchant processor Radial has agreed to integrate payment-fraud detection from Riskified to serve merchants, including those using Shopify. Radial, later this year, is expected to change its name to Paxon.
  • Finastra Ltd., a payments-software platform, said it will work with FraudAverse to offer an AI-based fraud-prevention service to clients using Finastra’s financial-messaging service.
  • Shift4 Payments Inc. announced several personnel changes. Pier Francesco Nervini has been appointed president of Shift4 International. Nervini comes to the company from Global Blue, recently acquired by Shift4. Timothy Goodwin has been appointed chief payments officer. Goodwin came to Shift4 early last year from Planet Payments. Chief accounting officer Jay Whalen is leaving the company and is to be replaced on an interim basis by Filippos Mintiloglitis, also formerly with Global Blue.
  • Payments provider Priority Technology Holdings Inc. reported revenue for the fourth quarter totaled $247.1 million, up 8.8% year-over-year; for the full year 2025, revenue came to $953 million, an 8.3% increase over 2024. Net income for the quarter was $8.95 million, up 24%; for the year, $55.7 million, more than doubling the figure for 2024.
  • Repay Holdings Corp. reported $78.6 million in revenue for the December quarter, flat with the same period in 2024; for the year, revenue dropped 1%, to $309.3 million. The company’s net loss for the quarter widened to $140.1 million from $4.1 million a year earlier; The loss for the year came to $256.7 million, compared to a $10.2 million loss for 2024.
  • Bitcoin Depot, a Bitcoin ATM network operator, announced ReadyBucks, a business-advance service offering working capital to small businesses.
  • One Inc, a payments provider for the insurance industry, has appointed payments veteran Bryan Thompson chief technology officer. Thompson’s experience includes posts at 8am (formerly AffiniPay), Heartland Payment Systems, and EDS.
  • Nitra, a developer of software aimed at automating a number of functions, including payments, for health-care practices, announced it has raised $187 million through its Series A and Series B funding rounds.
