  • PAR Technology Corp. said it has signed Pizza Factory for its PAR POS, PAR Ordering, and other PAR technologies to be installed at all of the restaurant chain’s 110 stores.
  • Zip Co Ltd. announced it intends to support Stripe Inc.’s Shared Payment Tokens for checkout via AI agents.
  • Pacific Gas & Electric is warning customers of a scam in which fraudsters call the utility’s customers to demand immediate payment on an allegedly overdue bill while sending a barcode or QR code. The scammer tells the customer to take the code to a store and show it to a cashier to make payment.
  • Precoro Inc., an automation platform for procurement, has launched Precoro Payments, aimed at enabling direct payment of invoices within the procurement workflow via ACH, same-day ACH, and wire.
  • A survey of 1,000 U.S. adults by processor NMI found that 30% have received a parking ticket because of confusing payment instructions. Some 37% have struggled with technical issues while trying to pay at parking kiosks or pay stations.

  • ACI Worldwide Inc. announced it is processing Wero transactions for Rabobank, a Dutch financial institution, as the Netherlands transitions from the country’s iDEAL payment system to Wero, the payment method sponsored by the European Payments Initiative.
  • New York City’s Rockefeller Center has named Visa Inc. a Proud Partner of Top of the Rock, the building’s observation deck. The designation will allow Visa cardholders to have early access to tickets for access and a 20% discount at the Top of the Rock shop.
