Oracle’s AI Assistant and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/18/26

  • Oracle Corp. unveiled new technologies for its Simphony Cloud Point of Sale technology, including an embedded AI assistant.
  • Mastercard Inc. adopted a new foundation for its generative artificial intelligence service. An AI foundation is a neural network trained on massive unlabeled datasets, according to technologist Nvidia.
  • Zerohash, a technology provider for payments via stablecoins and other digital assets, said it has expanded its headquarters in Amsterdam, which the company says now serves as its base for European operations. Clients of the company include the major U.S. processors Shift4 Payments Inc. and Worldpay, a unit of Global Payments Inc.
  • NEACH Payments Group, a unit of the New England Automated Clearing House Association, announced an agreement with the processor Propelr under which NEACH may offer the association’s clients access to Propelr’s wholesale processing rates.
  • TransFi Inc., a cross-border payments company, announced it raised $19.2 million in a financing round led by Turing Financial Group. The company operates in more than 70 countries, processing more than 40 fiat currencies and more than 100 digital assets.
  • The Money2020 trade show said it will partner with The Digital Chamber, said to be the largest U.S. trade association for companies involved in digital-asset and blockchain technology. The collaboration will focus on events, roundtables, podcasts, and other activities.
  • Klarna AB announced it now serves 7 million consumers in France, amounting to one in seven adults in the country. Klarna adds it is accepted by 48,000 French merchants.
  • Fiserv Inc. has agreed to supply its Clover point-of-sale system and other technologies to clients of Western Alliance Bank under an agent-bank partnership.
  • Lavu Inc., a payments-technology provider for restaurants, announced it has published a buyer’s guide for multi-store restaurants seeking information on point-of-sale systems.
