Money 20/20 Canceled, Returning in 2021 and Other Digital Transactions News Briefs from 8/4/20

  • Money 20/20, set for Oct. 25-28 in Las Vegas, has been canceled. Dates for the 2021 event are Oct. 24-27 in Las Vegas, which will mark the 10th anniversary of the payments conference. Citing the impact pf the Covid-19 pandemic, organizers also canceled Money 20/20 Europe.
  • Oto Analytics Inc.’s commerce platform Womply announced the public launch of Womply Bills, a service that enables a business to pay any bill with a credit card. Womply charges the card a 3% fee and delivers funds to payees.
  • Fattmerchant announced its payments services will be integrated into software from BigTime Software, which provides practice management applications for professional services firms.
  • Installment payments provider Klarna AB launched a Wish list service for consumers.
  • Payments provider E-Complish Inc. launched Push2Card, a service that enables businesses to disburse funds directly to U.S. consumers’ debit card accounts in real time.
  • Epson America Inc. introduced a new series of point-of-sale receipt printers that feature multiple connection options.
  • Impact Payments Recruiting created a Talent Development division that will be led by Damien Henderson, a human resources veteran.
  • Punchey Inc., a provider of cloud-based point-of-sale payment systems, appointed Mark Tavenner chief financial officer.
  • Conversational-commerce technology provider Authvia appointed Will Broadlick to the newly created position of vice president for strategic partnerships. Broadlick was formerly director of product management at processor Merchant e-Solutions.
