- Mobile point-of-sale provider Jumpmind Inc. said its system has been adopted by the merchants DTLR/Villa and Shoe Palace, which combined operate 450 stores throughout the country. Both retailers are owned by JD Sports, a seller of sports and casual wear.
- The payments platform Zilch has launched Zilch Travel, a service for booking and paying for holidays.
- New Mountain Capital LLC said it has agreed to acquire Machinify Inc., a developer of artificial-intelligence-based payments software for the health-care industry. New Mountain intends to combine Machinify with other entities to form a company that will bear the Machinify name at close. Terms were not announced.
- Ingenico has appointed Scott Spencer regional managing director for its North America region. Spencer has also been made a member of the company’s executive committee. He comes to the company from Ascendion Corp, a software-engineering company, where he was president for North America.
- Socure announced it has added Krisan Nichani as head of product strategy, Josh Simpson as head of customer success, and Brian Angelson as head of growth. Socure is a developer of identity-verification software based on artificial intelligence.
