Jack Henry Snaps up Payrailz And Other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/10/22

  • Financial-technology provider Jack Henry & Associates Inc. said it will acquire Payrailz, a provider of digital-payments technology, including real-time peer-to-peer payments capability. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of the month, were not disclosed.
  • Payments platform BlueSnap has agreed to support KeyBank’s U.S payments gateway for e-commerce transactions by middle-market and institutional clients.
  • Prepaid card program provider Paysign Inc. reported 4.7 million cardholders and 519 card programs as of the end of the June quarter. Revenue grew 29% year-over-year to $1.9 million, while the company narrowed its net loss from $704,000 to $228,000.
  • Ordr, which offers an app that lets customers order food directly from their stadium seat, announced an integration with payments-technology provider SpotOn.
  • Visa Inc. has launched its Visa Direct Preferred Partner Program. Available in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, the program is designed to speed time to market for organizations deploying Visa Direct.
  • Online commerce provider Digital River Inc. said its Global Seller Services, which includes payments, tax, compliance, and fraud mitigation, is being incorporated into Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Design Lab’s re-launch.
  • Cryptocurrency processor BitPay Inc. added a rewards program to its BitPay Prepaid Card. Cardlytics, a cash-back rewards platform, is managing the program.
  • U.S. Bank said after completing a test, it is offering a real-time payments service to provide loan funds to automobile dealers. U.S. Bank uses the RTP Network from The Clearing House Payments Co. LLC.
  • Digital-asset platform Bakkt Holdings Inc. named Karen Alexander chief financial officer. Alexander has been serving as interim CFO, and formerly worked at GE Capital in finance and accounting roles.
