Helcim Joins Verizon Program and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 10/7/25

  • Helcim announced it is the first payments provider to be included in the Verizon Business Marketplace, a software market for small and mid-size businesses. The news follows Helcim’s launch in April of Faster Deposits, a service aimed at delivering next-business-day funding of digital-payment receipts to merchants.
  • Stax Payments, a payments-technology provider, said it has added end-to-end payments processing with its launch of Stax Processing.
  • Payments platform Qu POS Inc. has linked its service with Paytronix, a guest-engagement provider for restaurants and convenience stores, in a bid to allow clients to operate loyalty and gift card programs across multiple channels.
  • Payments platform Payroc WorldAccess announced it has to offer payment processing to business clients of The First State Bank, a Texas-based institution.
  • FreedomPay Inc. said it has added Chase Payment Solutions to its Merchant Centered Acquiring Program, a referral program that links merchants with processors.
  • Sabre Corp.’s Sabre Direct Pay, a travel-payments platform, said it is launching a service aimed at simplifying chargebacks and making dispute resolution more efficient in both issuing and acquiring.
  • Pool United Inc., a payments platform, and First Internet Bank have launched a multi-user financial account called a Pool, which lets consumers add multiple users to share the account and spend from it using the Pool Visa debit card.
  • Payments platform Checkout.com said it has agreed to adopt Microsoft Corp.’s Azure cloud technology in an effort to offer faster payments services to enterprise clients.
  • Cornerstone Advisors found in its “Monetizing Faster Payments” report that 80% of U.S. financial institutions are in receive-only mode for real-time payments though nearly 75% of U.S. deposit accounts are enabled for real-time payments.
  • Verizon Inc. named Dan Schulman, former PayPal Holdings Inc. chief executive, as its CEO.
