EVO Payments Inc. says its new SimpleTab point-of-sale feature can reduce table-turnover time for hospitality merchants. Meanwhile GiftLogic says it has integrated Paystri, a payments-technology company, into its POS software.
The SimpleTab payment feature from Atlanta-based EVO works with the Ingenico Move/5000 payment terminal and supports EMV, contactless, and swipe card payments. EVO says it can help hospitality merchants using the pay-at-the-table service to reduce table-turnover time and fraud risk.
“SimpleTab can empower our software partners to enable secure and efficient payment acceptance for their hospitality merchants without the overhead required by other similar solutions,” Brendan Tansill, EVO’s president of the Americas, says in a statement.
In related news, Englewood, Fla.-based GiftLogic’s move to add Paystri integration will expand Paystri’s presence in the retail market, Jonathan Arst, Paystri founder and chief executive, said in a statement. Salem, Mass.-based Paystri focuses on products for independent software vendors.
“We are integrating Paystri’s many features into the GiftLogic software and the open communication we’ve established will shrink the time needed to get it into the hand of merchants,” GiftLogic president Ben Mitchell said in a statement.
