Blackhawk’s Fold Gift Card and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/1/25

Payments platform Blackhawk Network Inc. is working with Fold Holdings Inc., a financial-services company specializing in Bitcoin, to widen distribution of the Fold Bitcoin Gift Card, launched in May. More online merchants are expected to begin offering the card in coming weeks, the parties say.
Worldwide Stablecoin Payment Network (WSPN) has launched Global Payment 1.0, a service allowing businesses to support stablecoin-to-fiat conversions.
Nacha, the regulatory body for the automated clearing house network, said it is accepting submissions for its Spotlight! Payments Video Challenge, which offers $10,000 in total prizes for short videos illustrating the theme “Stand Against Scammers.” The contest is in its second year.
Payouts platform Payment Labs named Paul Brewer executive vice president of sales and sports partnerships to spearhead the company’s move into sports and gaming. Brewer’s experience includes positions at The Sporting News, Rival, and ESL.
