- Alchemy Pay, a payment gateway allowing users to exchange cryptocurrency and fiat money, launched its Crypto Card, a “mini app” backed by the user’s cryptocurrency. The promotion offers vouchers reducing the application fee to a penny from a dollar for a limited time.
- Fintech at Cornell has published “Cornell Convenes: Toward a New Bretton Woods Report,” a white paper concerning the future of stablecoins and central bank digital currencies. The document is based on a roundtable discussion hosted in April by the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business.
- The Clearing House Payments Co. LLC has appointed Amanda Stewart chief marketing officer. Stewart comes to TCH, which operates the nationwide Real Time Payments (RTP) network, from Deutsche Bank.
