Priority Completes Finxera Deal and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 9/20/21

  • Payments provider Priority Technology Holdings Inc. completed its acquisition of Finxera Holdings Inc., a provider of banking-as-a-service software. Terms of the deal, which was announced in March, were not announced.
  • Payment-fraud prevention provider Inetco Systems Ltd. launched BullzAI, a single technology combining a Web application firewall with a real-time fraud-detection and blocking system.
  • The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority said its collections vendor, Valor Intelligent Processing, is accepting PayPal for past-due toll payments. The feature includes cryptocurrency payments via PayPal.
  • Goldman Sachs Transaction Banking Services launched a demand-deposit account whose yield is linked to the achievement of the account holder’s environmental goals. The first client is Xylem, a specialist in water technology.
  • Visa Inc. announced new benefits for its U.S. consumer credit cardholders, including Shipt membership for same-day deliveries; access to Skillshare, an online learning community; and access to tickets from Sofar Sounds, a concert promoter.
  • Mastercard Inc. introduced its Sustainability Innovation Lab, whose purpose is to lead the company’s development of products said to be environmentally conscious.
  • The Western Union Co. said its Business Solutions unit is sponsoring the Latino Business Action Network, an organization dedicated to aiding Latino entrepreneurs.
  • Barclays US Consumer Bank appointed former Mastercard Inc. and MGM Resorts International executive Lili Tomovich chief marketing officer.
