Revel Releases Two Product Lines and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 2/5/19

  • Point-of-sale technology provider Revel Systems released two new product lines, Revel Enterprise, for multilocation businesses, and Revel Essentials, aimed at restaurants and businesses with 20 or fewer locations.
  • Shift4 Payments renamed its payment-management platform Lighthouse Transaction Manager. Formerly Dollars on the Net, the service enables merchants to access transaction reporting, pre-settlement auditing, a 24-month transaction archive, and other services.
  • Govolution LLC, a subsidiary of First American Payment Systems LP, announced that it is providing payments services to Insured.io, a software developer specializing in insurance-management software, enabling policyholders multiple ways to pay.
  • Majesco, a vendor of cloud-based software for the insurance industry, released an online billing and payments app integrated with CyberSource, an e-commerce processing unit of Visa Inc.
  • American Express Co. announced a relationship with Bill.com, a provider of digital business payments, to allow businesses to pay vendors with AmEx business or corporate cards without setting up a new card account and while earning rewards.
  • In related news, Brex, a provider of corporate cards for startups, said it will offer the World Elite Mastercard for Business, issued by Emigrant Savings Bank.
  • Credit-union processor Co-Op Financial Services said its Cooper Fraud Analyzer platform is now running throughout Co-Op’s shared-branch network consisting of more than 1,800 credit unions with 5,700 locations.
  • Steven R. Fischer retired as chairman of the board at ScanSource Inc., a vendor of point-of-sale technology, after 10 years in the role. Chief executive Mike Baur has added the chairman title.
  • UATP, a payments provider for the airline industry, added four new executives: David Goldwin as chief legal officer; Zach Ornelas as vice president of global network sales; Rachel Morowitz as vice president of alternative forms of payments; and Charisse Chisholm as vice president of business development.
