  • The Western Union Co. launched WU Incoming Payments for Legal, a service aimed at allowing U.S. law firms to accept foreign payments without bank-processing fees.
  • Payments provider Usio Inc. said InsureSmith, which provides insurance brokerage software products, integrated Usio’s PayFac-in-a-Box service to enable users to pay premiums directly through the InsureSmith platform.
  • E-commerce services provider Signifyd announced its Commerce Protection Platform, aimed at increasing conversion and combatting fraud.
  • Nacha said it has designated cloud-services provider Azimuth as a Nacha Preferred Partner for compliance solutions. Nacha is the rule-making body for the automated clearing house network.
  • Central Payments, a division of the Central Bank of Kansas City, announced the first group of companies that will join its Falls Fintech business accelerator program for the spring session.
  • Payments gateway Cardknox launched its redesigned Cardknox Merchant Portal, which features new tools for transaction processing and reporting.
  • Card-issuing platform Marqeta Inc. said it is processing its first transactions in Australia as it supports processor Klarna AB and food-delivery service DoorDash Inc. as they expand into the country.
  • Jim Parkinson, chief experience officer at payments provider North American Bancard, has been appointed to the Forbes Technology Council, a network of technology professionals.
  • Fraud-prevention firm The Authoriti Network named Paul Alexandre its vice president of sales. His work history includes positions at Dell, Oracle, and Brocade.
