PayJunction’s Integration with RetailOps and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 12/17/18

  • Technology provider Nxt-ID Inc. said its planned spinoff of its payment assets into an independent, publicly traded company has been delayed until the first quarter of 2019 owing to the company’s inability to come to terms with its primary lender, which holds security interests in the assets targeted for the spinoff. The company announced the spinoff in September and expected to complete it by Nov. 15. The new company is expected to be called PartX Inc. and will include the payment, authentication, and credential-management assets of Nxt-ID and Fit Pay Inc. Nxt-ID’s health-care unit, LogicMark LLC, will remain with the company.
  • Payments provider PayJunction announced an integration with RetailOps, developer of a retail-operations software-as-a-service platform.
  • Square Inc. said Square Appointments, a service that enables consumers to reserve time with a merchant, has integrations with Instagram and Reserve with Google, which enables users to create and manage appointments directly from their Google searches.
