Zip Expands Stripe Partnership and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 10/24/25

  • Zip Co. Ltd. said its payments services are available for U.S. merchants through checkout services managed by Stripe Inc., including Elements, Checkout, and Payment Links.
  • Fintech Everyday People Financial Corp. has agreed to manage network-branded card and digital-wallet programs offered by XTM Inc., a provider of real-time payments and earned-wage access, in a deal announced early Friday.
  • Payment-card manufacturer CPI Card Group Inc. celebrated the grand opening of a production center in Fort Wayne, Ind., Thursday. The new facility, which is expected to go online by year’s end, succeeds a former Fort Wayne plant CPI had operated for 16 years.
  • A collaboration between nbkc bank and payments-technology firm Interchecks is expected to allow fintechs to enable real-time transfers to recipients’ debit cards.
  • Semiconductor maker Infineon Technologies AG released two secured prepaid tag products meant to improve fraud loss performance for open loop and closed loop gift cards.
  • Point-of-sale equipment maker Epson released an updated version of its True Order-KDS software that includes ordering filtering and better item labeling customization.
  • Worldwide Stablecoin Payment Network, a technology developer for stablecoin transactions, has launched WSPN Checkout, a service that enables real-time cross-border stablecoin acceptance for e-commerce platforms, with settlement options offered by payment-service providers.
  • USBC Inc., Uphold Inc., and Vast Bank announced what they say is the world’s first retail tokenized deposit offering. The technology offers global access to tokenized deposits denominated in U.S. dollars and U.S. dollar deposit accounts globally for financial institutions and businesses as well as individuals. Starting next year, the service will allow customers to transfer digital versions of their dollar deposits at Vast Bank using USBC’s blockchain, the parties say.
  • OBook Holdings Inc., a blockchain-based processor that operates as the Owlting Group, announced it has received money-transmitter licenses in Washington, Kansas, and North Carolina, bringing to 40 the number of states where it has coverage.
  • Butter Payments, a subscription payments specialist, named Sofya Pogreb chief executive and Charles Rosenblatt chief commercial officer. Pogreb was chief operating officer at BILL, a financial operations platform, and Rosenblatt has held senior roles at Payoneer and Hyperwallet.
