Worldpay’s East West Tie-in and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 10/8/25

  • The processor Worldpay said it will offer commercial and business customers of East West Bank access to point-of-sale, e-commerce, and loyalty technology under a new agreement. FIS Inc. has agreed to sell Worldpay to Global Payments Inc. in a deal that is expected to close in the first half of next year.
  • Block Inc. has announced Neighborhoods on Cash App, a program it says is aimed at giving neighborhood merchants the ability to offer online ordering backed by mobile-app technology. The service’s features include a branded mobile storefront that can be reached online or via Cash App.
  • Xsolla, a provider of payments technology for online games, said its Buy Button checkout is now available for Android-based games.
  • Tiptappay Micropayments Ltd., a processor for donations, said it will become a payment option for churches and nonprofits using technology from Pushpay Holdings Ltd. for tithes and other offerings under a new agreement between the companies.
  • The fintech Ramp Business Corp. launched Agents for AP, a set of artificial-intelligence agents that the company says can automate invoice coding and approval, and payment processing.
  • Conduent Transportation has received a contract with the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority in Virginia for a pay-by-plate toll-collection platform.
  • The Western Union Co. said the waiting period for its proposed $500-million acquisition of Money Express Inc., announced in August, has expired. The deal should close by the middle of next year, Western Union said.
  • Aurora Payments has appointed Dominic Litten chief commercial officer, with immediate effect. Litten came to Aurora Payments in February from EverCommerce.
