NCR Atleos Back Cash-Use Law in New York and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/10/26

  • ATM maker and services provider NCR Atleos Corp. said it supports a New York state law that requires retailers and food establishments to accept cash for in-person transactions. Taking effect March 21, the law means these businesses cannot refuse cash payments and prohibits them from charging cash-paying customers higher fees.
  • Nacha, the automated clearing house rules maker, said Bottomline Technologies Inc. is a Nacha Preferred Partner for ACH experience, open banking, and risk and fraud prevention.
