Tulip Completes Moneris Integration And Other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/17/22

  • Tulip.io Inc., a Toronto-based point-of-sale system provider, said it has a certified integration with Moneris Solutions Corp., a large payment processor in Canada. Moneris had a U.S. presence prior to 2016 when it sold the U.S. business to Vantiv Inc.
  • The Western Union Co. said it has renewed an agreement to support digital money transfer for customers of Woodforest National Bank, which operates in 17 states.
  • WebBank, a Utah industrial bank, said it has agreed to issue credit cards on the American Express network, which allows the bank to offer cards with American Express benefits.
  • Payments-technology fintech BigCart, founded last year, said it will support payments for the OpenText Business Network, used by more than 1.1 million trading partners.
  • Private-label issuer Synchrony Financial said it will provide promotional financing to purchases of American Trailer World equipment, a manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of trailers and truck beds.

  • Payments-technology provider Jack Henry & Associates Inc. reported revenue of $482.7 million for the June quarter, up 7% year-over-year. Revenue for the 12 months totaled $1.94 billion, an 11% increase.
  • Organic Payment Gateways, a specialist in high-risk online transactions, said it is expanding into payment processing for telemedicine.
