- Checkout fintech Skipify said it is working with Visa Inc.’s Digital Commerce Program on initiatives, among them letting Skipify users link Visa Click to Pay cards to a Skipify’s Connected Wallet. This move speeds recognition of Skipify users on e-commerce sites to more quickly show the users’ available cards.
- PSCU/Co-op Solutions, a payments platform for credit unions, announced a multi-year program to develop a fraud-detection tool for members.
- Paysaxas, a new entrant in cross-border payments, launched its Paysaxas Smart Payments Platform, which includes the ability for users to pay and get paid in cryptocurrency.
- Mastercard Inc. announced a set of new credit card rewards linked to health and wellness, travel, and lifestyle brands, including Alo Moves, Booking.com, HealthLock, Instacard Business, Lyft, MoviePass, and ResortPass.
- Quisitive Technology Solutions Inc. said it has closed on its previously announced $40-million sale of BankCard USA Merchant Services Inc., effectively exiting the payments business. The buyer is BUSA Acquisition Co., owned by current employees of BankCard.
