  • Sionic Mobile, a provider of payment and rewards technology, announced a single account through which users can pay a range of providers through mobile devices or in-car commerce.
  • Gas Pos, which sells EMV-acceptance services to fuel retailers, announced a $1 million investment from Merus Capital, a venture-capital firm.
  • Bluefin Payment Systems LLC announced it will provide point-to-point encryption services to users of Destiny Solutions, developer of software for higher-education administrators.
  • The volume of fraud attempts is expected to rise 14% between Thanksgiving and Christmas compared to the same period last year, according to an analysis from ACI Worldwide.
  • CanPay, a payments provider specializing in the cannabis industry, said it is working with Jane Technologies, an online cannabis marketplace, to launch an integrated online menu and ordering platform with payments for cannabis dispensaries across the country.
