POS Software Provider ParTech Lands Culver’s And Its Nearly 800 Locations

ParTech Inc., a point-of-sale software provider to the restaurant industry, announced Wednesday that it will provide Culver’s restaurants with its Brink POS software across the company’s more than 790 locations. As part of the deal, Culver’s worked with long-time partner Retail Data Systems of Wisconsin, a provider of POS services, during the selection process. RDS Wisconsin will be managing the relationship, including product rollout and servicing.

ParTech’s Brink software is a cloud-based solution that supports payments as well as real-time analytics to identify consumer purchasing patterns, peak times, and staffing requirements. The technology also includes customized reporting, remote access to the system, and integration of third-party applications through its application programming interfaces. Users pay an undisclosed monthly subscription fee for the software.

“We’ve seen our guest preferences shift from 60% of our business to nearly all of our business being on-the-go,” Kelly Hanson, vice president of information technology for Prairie Du Sac, Wis.-based Culver Franchising System LLC, said in a prepared statement. “PAR’s approach to mobile capabilities for our restaurants and franchisees will offer more flexibility to serve our guests online and in our drive-thrus.”
