- Payoneer India, a unit of the New York City-based payments platform Payoneer Global Inc., has been granted in-principle authorization by the Reserve Bank of India to operate as a cross-border payment aggregator.
- Mews B.V., a startup whose technology specializes in reservations and payments for hotels, raised $300 million in a Series D funding round led by EQT Growth. The round values the company at $2.5 billion. The company processed $19.7 billion in payments last year on 42.3 million checked-in reservations.
- Looking to process video game payments, Bitcoin-based payments startup ZBD raised $40 million in a Series C round led by Blockstream Capital.
- Business-to-business payments provider Credit Key announced it has closed on a $90-millon growth-capital investment from Barings.
