- American Express Co. launched a refreshed Blue Cash Everyday Card with a new design and offering 3% cash back on online retail purchases in the United States, up to $18,000 in purchases per year, with 1% cash back on all other purchases.
- Mastercard Inc. announced Chargeworks, a social-impact program to help Canadian not-for-profit organizations.
- The card-issuing fintech Marqeta Inc. appointed Simon Khalaf chief product officer. Khalaf comes to the company from Twilio, a provider of tools for phone calls, text messages, and other means of communication.
- Risk mitigation provider Featurespace named Carolyn Homberger president of the Americas. Homberger had been at ACI Worldwide Inc., most recently as chief risk and administration officer.
