- U.S.-based Marqeta Inc., a card-issuing platform, said it has begun offering account and money-movement capabilities in 30 more countries in Europe, working with Banking Circle, a global bank.
- Yardi, a rent-payments platform, said it is working with Zenbase, a company that lets renters split rent payments, to add rent reporting to Yardi’s RentCafe resident portal in Canada.
- Fintech Increase added support for push-to-card fund transfers to eligible Mastercard Inc. and Visa Inc. cards.
- Scene+, a loyalty program that works with credit and debit cards from Canada’s Scotiabank and Tangerine Bank, said it has added more than 1,400 Shell Canada stations to its program. Scene+ says it serves 15 million members.
- Nocera Inc. said it is expanding its business beyond its traditional base in aquaculture to include technology for digital assets, artificial intelligence, data centers, and other fields. As part of the expansion, the company said it is rebranding as Nocera Holdings.
- Ant International’s Alipay+ payments gateway said it is introducing QR code-based mobile-payment services for travelers in Latin America who shop at stores served by the payments fintech PVS.
