- Payments processor Lightspeed Commerce Inc. announced a new AI-based tool aimed at helping merchants with inventory, product availability, and stock discrepancies.
- Ticket Fairy, a digital platform that handles ticket sales and other functions for live events, announced its incorporation of AI in the launch of its new platform, Ticket Fairy 3.0. Founded in 2011, the company says it has processed more than $300 million in ticket sales for events globally.
- Installment-payments platform Splitit Payments Ltd. has launched SplititGo, a service that enables card-based payments via a mobile device in face-to-face transactions, including in-store payments.
- Circle Internet Group Inc. said one of its affiliates will work with Sasai Fintech to promote adoption of Circle’s USDC stablecoin in Africa.
- Buy now, pay later specialist Klarna AB announced it has doubled to $2 billion a financing agreement with funds managed by Elliott Investment Management. The agreement, which also extends the agreement’s term to three years, will allow Klarna to facilitate up to $17 billion in loans across the remaining term of the program, Klarna says.
- Pulse Technologies, a payment processor for contact centers, said it will work with two other companies, Titanium Payments and Approved Contact, to develop a communications and payment platform for contact centers and customer-services providers.
- MoonPay, a payments network based on cryptocurrency, launched its Open Wallet Standard, a set of rules governing how AI agents hold value, sign transactions, and make payments on major blockchains.
- U.S. consumer spending at Easter will reach $24.9 billion, surpassing the previous all-time high of $24 billion in 2023, according to the National Retail Federation.
- One Inc, a privately held payments platform specializing in the insurance industry, said it finished 2025 with 37% revenue growth driven by 112 new client agreements and $245 billion in payments volume.
