- Shift4 Payments Inc. executive chairman and founder Jared Isaacman was again nominated by President Trump to serve as the NASA administrator. An earlier nomination of Issacman to that role was withdrawn by Trump in May.
- U.S. Bank launched Split World Mastercard, a credit card that enables automatic no-fee, no interest equal monthly payments on all purchases. U.S. Bank said it is an alternative to conventional buy now, pay later options.
- Pay3, a stablecoin payments provider, said it has launched its Agentic Payments Platform, which can run AI agents empowered to perform financial transactions autonomously using stablecoins.
- LISNR, a specialist in ultrasonic data transmission, said it will work with Satsuma.ai, an agentic platform specializing in commerce, to develop agentic commerce for out-of-store and on-the-go transactions as well as those in-store.
- Wholesale Payments, a payments processor, said it has acquired Strategic Mobile Solutions, a marketing and loyalty company operating under the name textLIVING. Terms were not announced. Wholesale Payments said it serves more than 40,000 merchants.
- Jopari Solutions, which develops billing and payments software for health care, has released Jopari ProPay 2.0, the latest iteration of its electronic-payments service.
- Video-game commerce platform Xsolla, which is based in Los Angeles, added new payment methods for consumers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
