GCF Buys Paper Systems and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 2/7/18

  • Point-of-sale products seller General Credit Forms Inc. said it purchased Paper Systems Inc., a manufacturer of paper rolls for POS and ATM systems. Paper Systems will continue to operate as PSI. Terms were not disclosed.
  • Euronet Worldwide Inc., which is based in the United States but operates ATM and other businesses in Europe, reported total transactions came to 3.63 billion in 2017, up 11% over 2016. Revenue totaled $2.25 billion, up 15%.
  • Digital-banking platform provider Urban FT Group Inc. said it now has a deal to acquire Digiliti Money Group Inc.’s Digiliti Money subsidiary, a provider of remote deposit capture and prepaid card services; Digiliti, formerly Cachet Financial Solutions, last year rejected a $10.5 million bid from Urban FT.
  • Payments provider BlueSnap Inc. announced enhancements to its platform that now includes services from Kount Inc., Chargebacks 911, Verifi, Ethoca, and 3-D Secure support from CardinalCommerce.
  • The U.S. Attorney’s office in Connecticut charged a Spanish man and a Springfield, Mass., man with bank fraud in connection with an alleged ATM jackpotting scheme. The two also face related state charges.
