Galileo Will Sell Its Apps on Amazon’s AWS Marketplace

Galileo Financial Technologies LLC has reached an agreement with Amazon.com to make its platform available to buyers on Amazon’s AWS Marketplace.

AWS marketplace is a digital catalog that features software listings from independent software vendors. Businesses use it to find software that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a unit of Amazon.com that provides cloud- computing platforms and application programming interfaces to individuals, companies, and governments.

By tapping AWS Marketplace as a sales channel, Galileo customers can streamline procurement and billing processes while staying on Galileo’s platform for card issuing and payment processing, the company says.

Software listings on AWS marketplace include security, networking, machine learning, storage, business intelligence, database, Software-as-a-Service, and professional services applications that are AWS-approved.

Galileo’s platform supports transaction processing for services and products such as debit cards, transaction validation and settlement, ACH, account transfer, virtual cards, and money management related to credit, overdraft loans, and direct-deposit accounts. The platform leverages machine learning and analytics to identify fraud and high-risk transactions.

“As more companies look to modernize their financial infrastructure and deliver digital experiences that meet today’s market demands, they need access to powerful financial-technology solutions,” Jamie Chomas, head of partnerships for Galileo Financial Technologies, says in a statement.
