Fiserv, Thunes Pair on Payouts and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/17/26

  • Clients of Fiserv Inc. will reach 12 billion bank accounts and mobile wallets for payouts in more than 140 countries through a collaboration between the processor and cross-border payments platform Thunes, the parties announced.
  • Xsolla, which supports payments for videogame players, said it has added more than 15 local payment methods worldwide to its Xsolla Payments platform, including pay-by-bank provider Aeropay in the U.S. market.
  • AuthID, a provider of identity-verification technology, reported June-quarter revenue of $500,000, up from $300,000 a year ago, while its net loss grew to $4.5 million from $4.4 million. The company announced it is considering “a range of strategic and financing alternatives,” including “a strategic partnership or investment” or “a sale or merger of the company.”
  • Elavon, the acquiring subsidiary of U.S. Bank, said its partnership with accounting platform Sage was renewed. Terms were not disclosed.
  • Fraud prevention specialist Riskified released its Travel Industry Insights report that found flight purchases made less than seven days before departure were 2.3-times riskier than other bookings.
  • Stablecoin platform Bakkt Inc. appointed Matt White chief financial officer, succeeding Karen Alexander, who will serve in an advisory role during the transition, the company says. White arrives from CoreCard Corp., which was acquired in 2025 by Euronet Worldwide.
  • Processor Payment Nerds appointed Jacob Martin vice president of sales. Martin comes to the company from a position as director of sales at Payarc. Payment Nerds also announced it has promoted sales representative Trae Holthouse to sales manager.
