Finix Broadens Merchant POS Controls and other Digital Transactions News briefs 9/25/26

Point-of-sale technology provider Finix announced client businesses can now build and deploy custom Android applications for POS terminals managed by Finix, which says the capability gives merchants broader control over ordering, checkout, and post-payment functions.
Vanco, a payments provider for churches, schools, and nonprofits, said it is working with church-technology platform ACS Technologies and the General Council on Finance and Administration to help United Methodist churches streamline payments and other business functions.
Inhabit, a provider of technology for payments and other functions for property managers, appointed company founder Ross Croley chief executive, effective Oct. 3. Croley, also founder and chief executive of Greater Sum Ventures, succeeds John Kristel, who is leaving Inhabit early next month.
Blockchain operator Solana Foundation appointed Rachel Conlan chief strategy officer and Jamal Raees general manager of payments. Conlan joins the company from Binance; Raees from Polygon Labs, with previous experience at Bridge and Wyre. Solana says it has processed more than $5 trillion in stablecoin volume this year.
