  • Tolling-technology provider Quarterhill Inc. said its Electronic Transaction Consultants unit has launched an E-ZPass interoperability hub to enable readily available electronic toll payments across regions of the United States. The move is considered a step toward nationwide toll-payment interoperability.
  • Equipifi, a provider of buy now, pay later services for debit card issuers, said it will launch a pay-in-4 feature to be offered by banks and credit unions.
  • In related news, installment-payments platform Affirm Inc. announced it will support a pay-over-time service for Zenni Optical, an online seller of eyewear.
  • Blockchain payments platform Ryvvl Inc. said it is working with distributed-ledger technology provider R3 to offer a “blockchain-as-a-service” product to businesses. The partners say the move will ease the integration of blockchain platforms by businesses.
  • T-Mobile US Inc. announced it is offering a $100 virtual prepaid Mastercard to buyers of the latest Motorola Razr mobile phone, which is selling for $99.99.
