Circle’s Shares and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/13/25

  • Circle Internet Group Inc. announced a public offering of 10 million shares of its Class A common stock, with 2 million shares offered by Circle and the balance by current shareholders. Circle on Tuesday unveiled Arc, a payments platform aimed at major money flows.
  • Payments-technology provider Alacriti Inc. said Beginnings Credit Union has adopted its Orbipay EBPP loan-payment technology. Beginnings has 17 locations and more than 77,000 members.
  • Fraud-prevention specialist Riskified said it will work with Human Security, a cybersecurity company, to offer agentic AI technology that the companies say can help merchants grow.
  • U.S.-based payments provider Citcon USA LLC announced a partnership with GMO Payment Gateway, an investor in Citcon, to adopt payment capabilities from GMO for acceptance by Citcon merchants in the United States and other countries.
  • Processor Nayax Ltd. reported second-quarter revenue of $95.6 million, up 22.4%, with processing fees up nearly 35% to $43.1 million and POS device revenue of $24.9 million, virtually flat with last year. Net income was $11.7 million, up from a $3 million loss a year ago.
  • Appcharge Ltd., a payments and checkout platform for mobile games, raised $58 million in a Series B round led by IVP, bringing the company’s total funding so far to $89 million.
  • Xsolla Inc., a payments provider for game developers, announced updates that include configurable daily rewards, a subscriptions capability, and a buy button for checkout with Apple Pay.
  • Vijay Sondhi will step down as chief executive of payments provider Network Merchants LLC (NMI) after seven years in the role, to be succeeded Sept. 7 by Steven Pinado, the company announced. Sondhi is expected to remain at NMI through year’s end as a strategic advisor. Most recently, Pinado was a partner at Radian Capital, and before that served as president of Billtrust for four years.
