Cardlytics Acquires Bridg and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/14/21

  • Cardlytics Inc., a specialist in deriving marketing data from payments flows, has agreed to acquire customer-data platform Bridg Inc. for $350 million.
  • Pay Theory, a specialist in payments technology for school districts, is integrating its services with Abre.io, a provider of administration platforms for elementary and high schools.
  • Airvet, a provider of digital payments and other services to veterinary hospitals, said it is working with veterinary-product distributor MWI Animal Health to reach clinics and doctors.
  • Greenbox POS, a developer of payments technology based on blockchain, announced it will work with Signature Bank to support its smart token infrastructure.
  • Nacha, the automated clearing house governing body, said Accelitas, a finance data specialist, is now a Nacha Preferred Partner for ACH account validation.
  • Acima, a lease-to-own fintech owned by Rent-A-Center, said it will offer the Acima LeasePay card for consumers. The Mastercard Inc.-powered card, available as a virtual card and later as a physical card, can enable consumers to receive instant approval for a lease transaction for up to $4,000, if approved.
  • Cryptocurrency processor BitPay Inc. joined the Crypto Open Patent Alliance.
  • Payments security provider PCI Pal named Mufti Monim chief technology officer. Monim most recently was CTO at Deko, a retail finance cloud technology provider.
  • The Electronic Transactions Association named Matt Tremblay senior manager of state government affairs. Previously, Tremblay was director of state government affairs at the Project Management Institute.
  • Mercator Advisory Group named Amy Dunckelmann as vice president of research operations. Her prior experience includes time at Mastercard Advisors, Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, and HSBC.
