CardFlight Adds ACH Acceptance to its SwipeSimple POS App

Automated clearing house payment acceptance is now available in the SwipeSimple point-of-sale app from CardFlight Inc., adding invoice and payment links to the mix.

New York City-based CardFlight says ACH acceptance is immediately available to merchants processing with Nuvei Corp., which is providing the technology for it. Launched in 2014, SwipeSimple most recently added a marketplace for apps. ACH acceptance is available through SwipeSimple resellers.

CardFlight says ACH transactions have the same reporting, reconciliation, and transaction history as card payments made with the service. This eliminates the need to use third-party tools to manage ACH transactions, CardFlight says. Merchants have the ability to accept ACH payments via invoices or payment links created in the SwipeSimple dashboard. ACH activity continues to grow. ACH transaction volume in the second quarter reached 9.3 billion, Nacha says.

SwipeSimple has evolved from its iteration as a mobile POS service. In 2015, in the midst of the U.S. EMV migration, it added a chip-compatible mobile card reader, followed by a customer manager service in 2018, its SwipeSimple terminal in 2019, and a mobile invoicing capability in 2024.

Adding ACH payments also may help merchants get paid quicker, CardFlight says.

“By bringing ACH into SwipeSimple, we are meeting service businesses where they already work: invoicing for jobs and giving their customers an easy, low-cost way to pay. It’s a natural expansion of what SwipeSimple does best,” Derek Webster, CardFlight chief executive, says in a statement.
