- Cantaloupe Inc., a payments processor for vending machines and unattended markets, reported 1.23 million active devices online at the end of its December quarter, up 7% year-over-year. Active clients totaled 30,027, a 14% rise. Revenue for the quarter came to $65.4 million, up 7%, while transaction volume grew 12% to $730.1 million on 286.7 million transactions. The company booked $3.12 million in net income versus a $573 million net loss a year ago. Cantaloupe recently acquired Cheq Inc. for $4.75 million.

- Qu POS Inc. said Nekter Juice Bar named it a preferred point-of-sale partner for its locations, which number more than 300 open or in development.
- GoDaddy Inc., a platform aimed at assisting businesses with payments and online marketing, appointed Jared Sine chief strategy and legal officer, effective March 18. Sine comes to the company from Match Group. GoDaddy most recently launched a tap-to-pay feature for merchants.
