Bonifi Picks Finicity and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/25/22

  • Data-exchange network Bonifii said it has selected Mastercard Inc.’s Finicity unit to provide open-banking services to access consumer bank data and support underwriting for mortgage, auto, personal, and small-business loans.
  • A financing company for patients to pay medical bills, iVitaFi, launched IVitaFi MyPlan, a payment platform that allows guarantors to access medical bills and make payments and also allows patients to arrange payment plans.
  • Payments provider Talus Pay named Bryan Fricke its chief revenue officer. Prior to this, Fricke held executive and sales operations roles at JPMorgan Chase and at First Data Corp., now Fiserv Inc.
  • Digital-asset platform Bakkt Holdings Inc. appointed De’Ana Dow and Jill Simeone to its board of directors. Dow is a partner and general counsel at Capital Counsel LLC. Simeone is chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Etsy.
  • Nacha, the automated clearing house governing body, announced five new board members for its Afinis Interoperability Standards organization.
  • Receivables and B2B payments provider Billtrust said John W. Murrary, a strategic advisor and consultant for investment firm The Riverside Co., joined its board of directors.
