Bilt Enlists Jackman for Rent Day and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/31/26

Payments platform Bilt said its Bilt Rent Day, which occurs the first day of each month, is collaborating with Global Citizen and actor Hugh Jackman Sept. 26 to promote the event. Bilt allows users to earn rewards on rent and other housing expenses.
TD Bank announced it has moved tokenized dollar-denominated funds between two U.S. banks for the first time. With support from Bank of New York, the transaction took place between TD New York Branch and TD Bank NA. The transaction used Project Agora, a public-private platform developed by the Bank for International Settlements and the Institute of International Finance.
Sebastian Siemiatkowski, chief executive of Klarna Group plc, bought 692,506 Klarna shares on Aug. 26 for $9.95 million, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission disclosed Friday. Klarna claims more than 120 million active global users performing 3.8 million transactions daily.
