- Business payments provider Bill.com announced the $625 million acquisition of Invoice2go, a mobile-first accounts receivable software provider. The stock and cash transaction is expected by the end of 2021.
- U.S. blockchain-payments specialist GreenBox POS LLC has agreed to acquire Europe-based processor Transact Europe Holdings OOD for 30 million euros, or approximately $35 million. The deal will bring to GreenBox principal membership in Visa and Mastercard for both acquiring and issuing.
- Wamo.io Ltd., a London-based startup aimed at providing digital payments for small businesses in Europe, announced it has begun operations with a projection of 10,000 clients by year’s end.
- Scorpion, a business services provider, said it and ERJ Solutions, a. payment services company, will offer merchant services to Scorpion’s medical practice clients.
- KeyBank expanded its ATM branding deal with Cardtronics to include machines at Kum & Go convenience store locations in Colorado. KeyBank announced a similar deal with Cardtronics at Kroger convenience store locations in Central Indiana.
- Some 4.2 billion people will be using digital-banking services within five years, or 53% of the world’s population, according to a projection from Juniper Research. That’s up from 2.5 billion users this year.
