  • Authorized push payments fraud is expected to reach $5.25 billion in fraud losses in the United States, United Kingdom, and India by 2026, according to research from ACI Worldwide Inc. and GlobalData, an analytics firm. In 2021, U.S. authorized push payment fraud was $1.6 billion and is forecasted to be $3.1 billion by 2026.
  • POSaBIT Systems Corp. released version 2.0 of its point-of-sale platform for cannabis retailers.
  • Payments provider Nuvei Corp. announced the global rollout of Nuvei for Platforms, which allows businesses to embed payments in their own systems as either a white-label service or as branded by Nuvei.
  • Paytronix Systems Inc. is integrating artificial intelligence-based voice assistants from Voicify in its platform to allow restaurants to enable voice ordering.
