Restaurant chain Everbowl said it will accept franchise-fee payments in Bitcoin starting today. The 6-year-old company has 50 locations and plans to open more than 150 additional ones over the next three years.
Gemini, a cryptocurrency platform to buy, sell, earn, and store crypto, said its Gemini Credit Card is now available in the United States. It is a Mastercard Inc.-branded card.
Payments provider North American Bancard Inc. has been named ISO of the Year by the Electronic Transactions Association. The company also won the award in 2014.
Chris Chen has joined payments technology firm Sila Inc. as chief technology officer. He was formerly with Wyre, a cryptocurrency platform that is in the process of being acquired by Bolt Financial Inc.
