Nuvei Corp. is adding the Paze digital wallet as an option for its merchants just as the much-anticipated fourth quarter nears. Paze is the online wallet from Early Warning Services LLC that is meant to expedite the checkout process for e-commerce businesses.
Montreal-based Nuvei, privately held since last year, joins a roster of payment processors making Paze available to their merchants. In June, Fiserv Inc. added Paze as an option. Early Warning also lined up Payfinia, a unit of Tyfone Inc., to offer Paze. Paze launched as a bank-centered digital wallet and rolled out in earnest in 2024 with the backing of seven large banks, and has since expanded access via Nuvei, Fiserv, and Payfinia. Eight issuers now participate, including Bank of America Corp., Capital One, Chase, Elan, PNC, Truist, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo.
Consumers using Paze will find their card information and billing addresses preloaded. Consumers will be able to add different shipping addresses and store them in Paze, too. The wallet also features a card-updater capability.

Nuvei says the addition of Paze gives merchants another acceptance option and integrates a tokenized checkout service that can help them reduce cart abandonment and increase conversions. For Early Warning, the integration adds another avenue in which to enroll merchants for Paze acceptance. “It expands Paze’s footprint, builds consumer familiarity, and helps drive consumer adoption at scale,” says Eric Hoffman, Early Warning chief partnerships officer, in an email to Digital Transactions News.
Adding Paze is an option for merchants, Hoffman says. “…Large merchants can choose to enable Paze through their existing Nuvei integration. It’s an optional, low-effort add-on designed to complement their current checkout flow without requiring significant development work. For small businesses who are on the Nuvei hosted pay page, they will all have Paze as a checkout option at launch,” he says.
Nuvei’s integration of Paze is under way, with availability expected later this year for U.S. merchants and ongoing availability planned into early 2026, Hoffman says. Some participating Paze retailers include Harry & David, Roku, and Sephora. Nuvei serves more than 100,000 merchants.
