Hutton Hotel Finds POS Malware and other Digital Transactions News briefs

Noble House Hotels & Resorts, which earlier said it had been notified by the U.S. Secret Service about a possible card-data breach at its Ocean Key Resort & Spa, said it has found through an investigation that card data may have been compromised at 11 other hotels, restaurants, and bars in its chain.

In related news, hospitality operator Hutton Hotel announced a cybersecurity investigation has found malware could have captured payment card data related to reservations placed between Sept. 19, 2012 and April 16, 2015, as well as purchases at onsite food and beverage outlets from Sept. 19, 2012 and Jan. 15, 2015 and from Aug. 12, 2015 to June 10, 2016.
