- Payments company PayTrace Inc. launched a browser-based EMV-acceptance service that uses an Ingenico Group EMV card reader and processing from Total System Services Inc. (TSYS).

- Bitcoin is trading above $6,000 again after its blockchain sustained another hard fork last week resulting in a new currency called Bitcoin Gold. This is the second split in Bitcoin’s basic code, following the creation of Bitcoin Cash in late July.
